🎮 1 Game = 1 Match = 1 Point

Each week, two bars face off in one full competition game (e.g., Beer Pong).
The bar that wins the best-of-X format for that game wins the matchup and earns 1 point.

🧪 Example: Beer Pong Night

• Format: Best of 7 (or best of 5 if time-limited)

• Team size: 2 or 3 players rotate in per round

• Final Result:

  • Farside wins 4 rounds

  • Dear Maud wins 2 rounds

  • ✅ Farside wins the night and gets 1 point in standings

🏅 Structure of the Season

• 10 Bars → 5 Matchups per week

• Each week focuses on one game type across all matchups
  (e.g., Week 1 = Beer Pong, Week 2 = Flip Cup, Week 3 = Trivia)

• Home bar hosts, visiting bar travels

📊 Leaderboard Scoring

Each bar earns:

• 1 Point per Match Win

• 0 Points for a Loss

Optional Tiebreakers (End of Season):

• Head-to-head result

• Total Rounds Won (across all nights) — tracked manually

• Championship Tiebreaker Night if necessary

For Players, Teams & Team Captains

🏆 THE BASICS

• Bar Wars is a 10-week bar-vs-bar league hosted by CLUB YOU.

• Every week, two bars face off in one full game competition (e.g., Beer Pong, Flip Cup, or Trivia).

• Winning the game = 1 point in the standings.

• The bar with the most points by season’s end makes the playoffs.

👥 TEAM RULES

• Each bar team must have:

  • Minimum 10 registered players

  • Matching t-shirts or jerseys encouraged

  • Good sportsmanship is required, zero tolerance for aggression or disrespect

🧠 TEAM CAPTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as the coach, manager, and spokesperson for the team

• Communicates with Bar Wars staff weekly

• Organizes player lineups for game nights

• Makes substitutions if needed

• Ensures team promotes games to bring energy and a crowd

🎮 GAME FORMAT (PER NIGHT)

• One featured game per night (Beer Pong, Flip Cup, etc.)

• Format is typically Best-of-7 (first to 4 wins)

• Players rotate in after each round unless otherwise specified

• Hosts/judges oversee rules, scorekeeping, and fairness

🧾 SCORING SYSTEM

• Win the game → your bar gets 1 point

• Lose the game → 0 points

• Scores are tracked weekly and posted on the leaderboard

🤝 SPORTSMANSHIP & CONDUCT

• Be competitive, but respectful

• No fighting, excessive taunting, or destruction of property

• Anyone violating conduct will be suspended or banned

• Bar staff and CLUB YOU have final say on rule enforcement

🔄 ROSTER ROTATION

• All players should get play time throughout the season

• Each round of a game must have different players rotating in (no monopolizing)

• Captains manage who plays each round — rotate smart, play strategic

📣 PROMOTION & PARTICIPATION

• Home bars are encouraged to promote the game weekly via social media

• Captains & teams that hype the night may earn bonus shoutouts, MVP nominations, and other perks

🥇 CHAMPIONSHIP & PRIZES

• Top teams go to playoffs at the end of the season

• Championship Night includes:

  • DJ & Host

  • Trophies & Exclusive Merch

  • Player MVPs & Gift Cards
